Bournemouth build fourth stand

The ground became the club's home in 2001, but only now has a decision been made to make sure a fourth stand is in place, though it will be a temporary one.

Cherries' Chairman Peter Phillips hopes that a new stand will be in place for the Bristol City home match on August 13th.

Phillips said: "I'm delighted - it will be nice to finally see some supporters behind that goal.

"There are a few minor loose ends to tie up but the confirmation is imminent and should be through early next week.

"Hopefully, it should not take too long to turnaround and will be in keeping with the rest of the stadium.

"There is some work that needs to be done to the ground itself and turnstiles need to be added.

"But I would hope it would be ready for use for the Bristol City game on August 13."
