Brentford boss wants further improvement

The Bees are joint top of the table with Scunthorpe, and are the only team to beat the Iron in a competitive match this season.

But Allen is refusing to sit back and admire the view, he is picking fault with the display during Saturday's 1-0 win over MK Dons at Griffin Park.

He said:"After eight games we're going okay but I still feel there's room for improvement.

"Over a long period of time, good displays will get points and although the second-half was better, the first wasn't near the standard we have set.

"The bottom line is we picked up three points and we all went home happy."
