Cardiff close on Hasselbaink

The 35-year-old former Chelsea, Middlesbrough and Leeds United striker has been a free agent since leaving Charlton Athletic at the end of last season and will undergo a medical before putting pen to paper on an initial one-year contract.
Hasselbaink will form an experienced partnership with former Liverpool striker
Robbie Fowler at the Championship club this season.
"Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will have a medical and then sign his contract," Ridsdale told the
South Wales Echo.
"Jimmy showed (manager) Dave Jones and I that he is enthusiastic and hungry to get started."
