Chairman warning for Doncaster fans

The club have sold a thousand season tickets for next season, the club's second in League One after two successive promotions.

But Ryan, who has hinted that he could quit the club due to his perceived lack of support from fans, does not feel this is enough.

He told Clubcall: "This is the best squad of players Doncaster Rovers have had in living memory. When I look at the season tickets, and we've just sold a thousand at the moment, I just get a bit down in the mouth a little.

"When I see Huddersfield with eight and a half thousand season tickets and other teams with considerably more than us in places that are smaller than
Doncaster, it does get a little bit depressing to say the least.

"I've kept the faith, I've kept the prices the same as last year where other teams have seen the prices going up by forty percent. I see people on the web saying 'I'm thinking about buying a shirt, I'm thinking about buying a season ticket.'

"If I had that attitude Doncaster Rovers wouldn't even exist. It's a club for us all. If you do nothing why should I do anything?"
