Colchester boss issues warning

The Uss slipped to the foot of the Championship table - the only team left below Scunthorpe - following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at QPR and afterwards Williams pulled no punches.

He said: "If you pick up less than a point a game you will be in trouble, and we need to pick up some wins soon.

"We haven't slipped to the bottom of the table because of one result. It's come from our results this season.

"When we pass the ball and are positive, we don't look a bad side.

"It was the first 45 minutes that cost us. With the chances we created after the break, I was left wondering why we couldn't manage that in the first half."
