Coventry managing director quits

Fletcher's decision comes amid rumours that the Sky Blues may have to enter administration while takeover talks with a number of potential investors continue.

"The board of Coventry City Football Club can today confirm that managing director Paul Fletcher has resigned," read a statement on City's official website.

"The club would like to thank Paul for his dedication and hard work during what has been a difficult time."
