Forest boss laments inconsistency

Relegated out of the Championship at the end of last season, Megson was looking to begin the 2005-06 campaign with a flying start.

But instead, Forest have picked up just six points from as many games after
two wins and four defeats with the latest setback being a 2-1 home loss to Brentford.

And the City Ground supremo fumed: "If we're intent on having a good, strong season then we've got to start putting runs together.

"But you can't get a run going without making the first step, which is getting back-to-back wins.

"After winning at Gillingham, Brentford was a game of huge importance for us, even this early in the season."
