Forest boss warns misfiring strikers

Forest lost their second game on the trot against Swindon Town on Saturday, leaving Megson was bitterly disappointed with the defeat, and his squad.

"This was the worst we have played so far in the second half, we had nobody who looked like they were going to pass or create anything. We got sucked into playing the long ball and it doesn't suit us," he said.

"In all three games so far we have been on top in the first half, but even when we are on top we are still not scoring enough goals.

"Our forwards aren't getting enough efforts on goal, in this game we had 11 corners and got nothing. Swindon had two, and scored from one of them.

"We talked in the dressing room after the game and feel that we are not far offm but at the same time we are a long way off."
