Forest miss out on Agogo

Forest had made an approach for the 27-year-old Pirates striker last week after learning that Nathan Tyson faces four months on the sidelines.

But Rovers are unwilling to let their star player go without more funding to replace him.

"We received a written offer from Nottingham Forest for Junior Agogo, and that offer was considered by the board of directors," said chief executive Bill Smith.

"The conclusion that board reached was that the offer was insufficient, and as a result it has been turned down."
