Tempers flared at Victoria Park after Saturday's 3-0 loss to relegation rivals Blackpool.

A club statement read: "Following the incidents in and around the players’ dressing room after the game on Saturday, the club has suspended Martin Scott from his duties pending a full internal investigation into the events that took place.

"Martin is co-operating fully with this procedure."

Scott took charge of Pools last season when Neale Cooper left the club.
