The 35-year-old will go straight into the Terriers' squad to face League One promotion chasers Bristol City on Saturday.

"He has got lots of experience which will be a valued addition to the back line," said Huddersfield manager Peter Jackson.

"We have a young back four and he will hopefully add more steel to the defence."
