Midfielder Ahmed (tendinitis) has yet to play this season, while defender Mirfin and striker Booth have not played since early August due to hamstring injuries.

Boss Peter Jackson told PA Sport: "Adnan played in the reserves against Bradford this week, but is not quite ready yet.

"He's playing games but is not fully match fit yet. Boothy's back with us in training and that leaves Mirfin, who is a week to 10 days away.

Jackson is hoping his side can bounce back quickly from their 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Scunthorpe last Friday.

He added: "I've told the players it¹s a sign of a good side if you can put a poor display behind you and bounce straight back."
