A 14th-minute winner from Simon Whaley proved to be the only goal of the game as Yeovil lost at home to Bury.

A win could have taken Scunthorpe back to the top spot, but a point from the game at Rochdale still sees them in a strong position.

Macclesfield kept the pressure on the top two with a 3-1 win against Leyton Orient at Moss Rose.

Jonathan Parkin, Matthew Tipton and a Paul Harsley  gave the hosts the points.

Lincoln recorded a routine win with a 2-0 victory over Shrewsbury at Sincil Bank. Early goals from Francis Green and Simon Yeo were enough to give the Imps a comfortable win.

Wycombe's promotion hopes were dealt a blow after a 2-1 defeat to bottom club Cambridge at the Abbey Stadium, the result gives the Us some hope of avoiding the drop out of the League come the end of the season.

Bristol Rovers and Mansfield thrashed out a 4-4 draw in a thrilling clash at the Memorial Stadium. Carlton Palmer's side looked to be heading for a 4-2 win, but late goals from Junior Agogo and Jamie Forrester earned the Pirates a point.

Oxford beat Boston 2-0, with Steve Basham hitting both the goals. Chester beat struggling Notts County 3-2.

Kidderminster and Rushden played out a dull 0-0 draw, a result that slightly benefits the Diamonds as it keeps them four points above second-bottom Harriers.
