The 20-year-old Australian picked up the problem during Tuesday's 3-2 Carling Cup victory over Nottingham Forest.

Wesolowski was substituted after just 19 minutes of the replayed second-round clash at the City Ground.

"He's had a scan and it's a bad pull. It could be four to six weeks," admitted new Foxes boss Gary Megson.

"It's bad news for us and him. His career has been blighted by injuries but he's a tough lad and will be back."
