Oldham boss: I can take stick

Moore was taunted by a section of his own fans during last week's 4-0 drubbing at Barnsley, which saw the Latics concede three goals in the opening quarter of an hour.

The Latics boss admitted: "You get used to it.

"It is a fickle game, and supporters can turn very quickly. But you have to learn to take it, I have been around long enough to know how to deal with it."

The side are still just behind the play-off positions, but Moore says fans have every right to voice their opinion.

He added: "I didn't need to talk at half-time because the players had to walk off past their own fans and listen to exactly what people thought of them.

"We know how much the fans care about this club, and I wish the players had shown the same kind of passion.

"They have a right to their opinion, so I understand when they make their feelings clear about myself and the team.

"They work all week earning the money to come and watch us, and they deserve a hell of a lot better than we gave them."
