Parkin likely to leave Swindon

Canaries boss Nigel Worthington wants the £400,000-rated striker to partner Dean Ashton at Carrow Road next season.

But Anglian rival Joe Royle wants to boost his frontline, following the departure of strike duo Shefki Kuqi and Darren Bent - who so nearly fired the Tractor Boys to the Premiership.

Four Championship clubs are rumoured to have placed bids for the forward, including Watford, as the striker looks almost certain to leave the Robins.

Crewe are also rumoured to be interested in the forward.

Winger Brian Howard (Barnsley), midfielder Grant Smith and defender Matt Heywood (both bristol City) have already left Swindon this summer, leaving manager Andy King with much rebuilding work to do.
