Port Vale's Sam out for four months

Sam suffered a broken leg against Rotherham last week, but it was hoped the recovery would be quicker.

Valiants boss Martin Foyle said: "Hector is now going to be out for three to four months.

"The fracture has not settled and is out of place so he has got to have that pinned which will keep him out for longer than we had initially expected."
