Rogers back at Forest

Rogers has yet to feature for the Reds this season after falling out of favour with Forest boss Gary Megson, who transfer-listed the 28-year-old at the end of the 2004-05 campaign.

The Liverpudlian spent a day on trial at the Britannia Stadium, but failed to secure a deal with the Potters prior to the transfer window closing.

Manager Gary Megson said: "The only other player anyone showed an
interest in was Kris Commons.

"From our point of view regarding bringing players in, we tried for one
or two but they had other clubs to go to.

"None of the others were any better than what we already had."
