Rotherham talk to possible managers

Harford was sacked by the Yorkshire club on Saturday after going 17 games without a win.

Chairman Peter Ruchniewicz told the club's official website: "We know our fans are anxious for further news but I do ask for their patience. The directors held preliminary talks over the weekend and we hope to make a further announcement about the management situation later in the week.

"We can appreciate there will be a lot of speculation about a replacement. We are deeply conscious as always of doing what, in our judgement, is in the best interests of the club. The board is looking at all the options and at this stage and it would be inappropriate to comment further."
