Martin wants to buy out the share owned by Delancey Estates, who wanted to sell Fossetts Farm - land earmarked for a new stadium.

said. "Delancey felt they could sell the Fossetts Farm site to others, but I wasn't prepared to let that happen."

There have been proposals for the Shrimpers to move to Fossetts Farm, a greenfield site near their training ground, since Martin's property development company Martin Dawn took charge of the club seven years ago.
