The 22-year-old former Charlton player has apparently failed to settle and is looking for a move back to the south.
"If we receive an appropriate offer, we will help Jamal in every way possible," manager Mick Harford had earlier told the club's website.
"In the interim period we look forward to a good working relationship," added Harford.
