Stoke seal Cresswell signing

Cresswell has signed a three-year contract with the Potters, who moved quickly to land the former Preston forward after he failed a medical at Hull City earlier this week.

Of Wright's capture, first-team coach Mark O'Connor said: "Stephen's another very good player. He can play in both full-back roles, is aggressive and can get up and down the pitch."

Charlton Athletic defender Jonathan Fortune could be the next player to move to the Britannia Stadium after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee for the 26-year-old.
