And Jackett declared: "I think we have a very good squad here now, certainly the best since I've been at the club and results are beginning to prove that.
"It is nice being around the top of the division in September but, if we're still there come Christmas, I will be even happier.
"We've come into this division to compete and our aim is to win promotion."
