Bristol Rovers 2-0 Cheltenham Town (attendance: 8,013)
Bristol Rovers move into the top seven after a 2-0 win today. Paul Tait scored his fourth of the season just before half time, and Wayne Carlisle made the win safe from the penalty spot in the closing stages.

Bury 1-3 Doncaster Rovers (attendance: 3,606)
Bury's on-loan defender Greg Strong let Leo Fortune-West in to open the scoring with a weak back-header in the 11th minute, but Andy Preece (28) levelled with a penalty. Greg Blundell put Doncaster back in front 7 minutes later with a well-hit half-volley, and Michael McIndoe made the win safe from Fortune-West's pass early in the second half.

Cambridge United 1-2 Mansfield Town (attendance: 4,068)
Terry Fleming's sloppy backpass allowed Craig Disley to score the opener after 34 minutes, but team-mate Iyseden Christie was sent off two minutes later. Mansfield were then down to 9 men before half time as Rhys Day pulled down Dave Kitson. The hosts had chance to make their 2-man advantage count when they were awarded a penalty, but Kevin Pilkington saved Justin Walker's effort. Liam Lawrence (73) then showed him how to do it after Walker gave away a penalty at the other end. Things got worse for Cambridge 3 minutes later when Dave Kitson was sent off, but they managed to pull back a consolation goal 9 minutes from time through Fleming.

Carlisle United 1-2 Swansea City (attendance: 4,854)
League-leaders Swansea had to come from behind to get the three points and stay top of the table. Richie Foran gave Carlisle the lead at the interval with a penalty, but Swansea could count on Lee Trundle to equalise with the second penalty of the game 5 minutes into the second half. That was his 10th of the season, but it was on-loan midfielder Mark Wilson who got them the winner with a 25-yard free kick 5 minutes later to deny Paul Simpson getting off to a good start in the Carlisle hotseat.

Darlington 3-0 Boston United (attendance: 4,519)
Boston forward Peter Duffield came closest to scoring in the first half when he hit the bar, but all three goals were scored in the second half - in keeper Paul Bastock's net. Craig Liddle (65) got the first and Matthew Clarke (72) added a second. Ian Clark then got the pick of the goals, ending a run with a neat finish past Bastock. Darlington have now won their last four games at their Reynolds Arena stadium, while Boston are still without a win on the road.

Huddersfield Town 3-0 Leyton Orient (attendance: 8,942)
The Terriers led at the break after Steve Yates (31) tapped in from close range. Paul Scott (62) made it two in the second half, finishing after Orient struggled to deal with a series of corners. Andy Booth then followed his midweek exploits in the Carling Cup by heading in the third. Orient drop into the bottom two, and subsequently sacked manager Paul Brush after defeat at the McAlpine Stadium.

Hull City 6-1 Kidderminster Harriers (attendance: 13,683)
Ben Burgess gave Hull City the lead with a tap-in after just 5 minutes, but Kidderminster equalised with 20 minutes on the clock as a Damien Delaney error let in John Williams. However, the Tigers were back in front just before the break with Danny Allsopp getting his 6th of the season. Andy Dawson hit a stunning volley to make it 3-1 before Ben Burgess got his second of the game with an overhead kick. New signing Ryan France scored on his league debut and Stuart Green closed the scoring with a free kick move in stoppage time, as City keep up the pressure on Swansea at the top of the table. The two teams meet at the KC Stadium on Tuesday.

Lincoln City 1-1 Rochdale (attendance: 4,141)
Mickael Antoine-Curier fortuitously gave the visitors the lead in the 40th minute. A ricochet landed at his feet, and City keeper Alan Marriot flapped at the shot as it found the net. But Marcus Richardson equalised a minute before the break, and the forward on loan from Hartlepool has now scored in each of his last three games. Rochdale had Lee McEvilly sent off early in the second half, but the Imps couldn't make the numerical advantage count as 'Dale earned the draw.

Macclesfield Town 0-0 York City (attendance: 2,311)
Macclesfield remain unbeaten at home after holding York, but once again had goalkeeper Boaz Myhill to thank. His saves earned the Silkmen their sixth draw of the season, while York are unbeaten in their last three.

Oxford United 3-0 Northampton Town (attendance: 6,518)
Northampton were never in this one, with Steve Basham scoring inside the opening minute. Dean Whitehead made it 2-0 with a 25-yard free kick, then Basham got his 7th of the season just before half time to give Town no hope of a comeback. The win moves Oxford back up to 3rd in the table.

Scunthorpe United 1-1 Southend United (attendance: 3,390)
On-loan forward Steve McClean scored his fifth Scunthorpe goal with a lob after just 6 minutes. In the second half, Steve Torpey nearly doubled the lead but saw his header hit the bar. However, Leon Constaine's drive in the 69th minute found the back of the net, and after 13 consecutive defeats, Southend have finally earned a point on their travels.

Yeovil Town 0-2 Torquay United (attendance: 7,718)
Torquay came out on top in the first ever league meeting between the two west country sides. Jo Kuffour set up David Graham for his 7th of the season in the 15th minute, before back-heeling the second into the net midway through the second half. The two sides are now dead level in the table just outside the top three.
