The 20-year-old made eight appearances for the Swans during a loan spell last season.

A club spokesperson said: "We are just waiting for the player to come to
Swansea to sign."

Swans manager Kenny Jackett is hoping Bean shows an improvement on his
previous appearances in a Swansea shirt.

He told the Swansea Evening Post: "We didn't see the best of Marcus when he came to us last season, but there¹s definitely a player in there. He is very athletic and I think the wide open spaces at our new stadium will suit him."

Bean's arrival will come after Kristian O'Leary twisted an ankle in training
on Monday, leaving him sidelined for a month.
