The Welsh side will reportedly pay £150,000 for the Polish striker, who has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal at the club.

"I enjoyed Huddersfield but the time was right to move for the betterment of my career," he said.

"I am looking forward to playing with Lee Trundle or Adebayo Akinfenwa.

"There's going to be competition up front, that's what keeps people on their toes."

Abbott is in line to make his debut against Gillingham on Tuesday night.
