Tranmere's Zola can return to action

The 20-year-old had his visa withdrawn by the British Government last November, forcing Zola out of the Tranmere team and onto a trip to his war-torn home country in order to reapply.

After safely returning to England, Zola said: "I'm absolutely delighted,  feel like a bird!

"The first thing I thought when it was all sorted was that I could play football again, which is everything for me.

"I want to make my people proud and wear the Tranmere shirt.

"I can breathe now as it's been the hardest three days of my life. I had to go to the Embassy and I didn't know what to expect.

"Where we were going it was very crazy. It seemed like they didn't have any rules so anything could happen to you at any time.

"It may take some time for me to get back to normal because it has been a long time since I've played but I will give 100 per cent.

"I'm committed to the club and want to show them that the faith they showed in me wasn't for nothing."
