Vale and Chesterfield lead way

Rotherham's fight for survival got off to a bad start with a lacklustre home loss at the hands of Brighton - with Alex Revell scoring for the Seagulls.

Brentford and Tranmere were single goal winners over Blackpool and Oldham respectively.

Gillingham were 2-1 winners over Huddersfield at Priestfield, with Matthew Jarvis and  Dean McDonald scoring the goals -  Gary Taylor-Fletcher pulled one back for the Terriers after 81 minutes.
