The vast majority of Laws' Premier League and Football League colleagues often voice their criticism of mid-season international breaks. But, with his side currently toiling towards the bottom end of the table, the Owls boss is relishing the prospect of spending some time on the training ground. Wednesday have lost eight out of ten games this season and were on the wrong end of a 2-0 scoreline at home to Leicester City last weekend. "Some people say that when you fall off a horse you get back on as quickly as you can, but actually this break couldn't have come at a better time," he told the Sheffield Star. "It gives players an opportunity to get back and give me a full squad to choose from, going into a very tough game at Stoke, who are a very strong side on a successful run and who will be one of the very strong sides in the division."
