But they have been linked in the last couple of days with a swoop for wantaway Iron striker Paul Hayes, any move though would require a fee though due to the player's age.
"A couple are close to signing," he told Yeovil's official website.
"There are fees involved with one or two but no fees involved in others. I would love to tell our supporters who they are, but that will only alert other clubs.
"If it's not possible to sort things out by then, it will be at the beginning of the new season."
