Dawson misses season start at Hull

The injury could keep him out for four to six weeks, meaning he is almost certain to miss the start of the season.

Mudrats manager Peter Taylor said: "He was just settling in. He's done outstandingly well. I knew he was a good player but he's even better than what I thought.

"We'll just keep our fingers crossed and hope it's not too bad. We do have other options for left-back and it could be we'll have to have a look at them."
