Iriekpen signs for Hamilton

The former Scunthorpe defender Izzy Iriekpen has signed for the Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academical.
The centre-back, 27, was a free agent this summer after being released by
Bristol City. Iriekpen had moved to the Robins in January after having his
contract terminated by the Iron.
He made nine appearances at City, five as a substitute, but the manager Gary Johnson did not offer him a new deal due to doubts over his fitness.
The former Swansea player also went on trial to the League One side
Southend United, but has signed a two-year contract with the Accies.
He had lined up a move to New Douglas Park in January, but reneged on an agreement to join them to move to Ashton Gate instead.
