The goalkeeper, 19, came through the youth team setup at Glanford Park but did not make an appearance.
He spent much of last season as third-choice keeper behind a combination of Josh Lillis, Sam Johnstone and Sam Slocombe.
He has played for the Imps on trial during pre-season and formally completed his move on Monday.
