Well, that's exactly what our Prediction League is here for. We're not asking you to predict armageddon, just how you think the Iron will fare in the league this season.

Seven people entered and predicted yesterday's game, and it's not too late to sign up now to be a part - after all, you're not too far behind.

Be warned though, the competition is tough. Two people correctly predicted yesterday's 1-1 stalemate with Wrexham, congratulations to Barrie Clark and Sarah Thornhill (my lil sis!) who correctly predicted the result and earn themselves the maximum 15 points.

Not so good was the Iron-Bru.net FC side as predicted by the site editor, our rather optimistic 2-0 win never came to pass an as such we wind up bottom of the league after the first game.

The other contestants all picked up a handful of points each though, and there is plenty of time for the league to take shape and you get the chance to win something for nowt.

Last season the race went right down to the final day of the season, and there was no telling whether the site team would be able to stage a coup de 'etat. We didn't.

We can't tell you the prizes yet, because Footymad haven't told us (they've been kinda busy buying large chunks of sports.com recently) but there should be more details up in the near future.
