Worldnet saw 62 supporters sides from around the world congregate on Leeds University for a three-day long knockout tournament organised by the IFA.

Scunthorpe United's official supporters side, the Iron Filings, were drawn in Group 8 against Ayr United, Gillingham and Birmingham City B.

There they reached beat Colchester 3-0, Brentford 1-0 thanks to a golden goal and set up a final against Inter Milan with a 4-3 penalty shootout win over West Bromwich Albion.

After normal time ended 1-1 the match went to extra-time, where the Filings won thanks to a golden goal from Dan Sharkey.

Shirts were exchanged with their side after the match, and the Filings accepted an invitation to Milan to play a rematch.
