Adkins hopeful of Chelsea youngster

Adkins told BBC Radio Humberside that he had a number of midfielders in mind that may become available after Chelsea's pre season tour of Malaysia.

"We're monitoring the situation, Michael Woods is one of many possible options," he said.

The Iron boss also confirmed they have offered Michael Lea a one-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months in the club's favour.
