Four first-team players were unable to train on Tuesday, with the North-East Lincolnshire club describing defender Dean Gordon and striker Michael Reddy as doubtful for Saturday's game at Glanford Park.

John McDermott and Jason Crowe also missed yesterday's session with hamstring injuries.

Codfather Russell Slade insightfully said: "It's not ideal preparation, we need to steer clear of any more injuries."

Another possible absentee is Terrell Forbes - who is being advised to miss the game as it may distract him from his impending criminal trial for rape.
