Tom Huddlestone (29 mins) and Ryan Jarvis (66 mins) ensured a home win in the match which kicked off fifteen minutes late due to a floodlight fuse problem.

The opening goal came from a well worked short corner. A cross from Philip Ifil was controlled by Huddlestone who drove the ball home with the help of a slight deflection.

They should have increased their advantage before the break, but couldn't get past an imposing French goalkeeper.

More chances were wasted in the second fourty minutes, but a spectacular second goal eased the nerves.

Leeds United youngster Aaron Lennon, on as a second half substitute, fed Jarvis who promptly found the top corner of the net.
