Away fans will be in the overflow area of the Evening Telegraph stand, and ticket prices have been reduced for home fans.

The decision was taken to improve atmosphere at midweek games, and also to counter traditionally low attendances for these fixtures.

The club also hope that having home fans behind each goal will provide a pshychological boost to the players at a time when tevery point counts.

Iron chief executive Don Rowing said: "The idea is intended to boost the atmosphere, while will assist the club in its efforts to get promoted."

Manager Brian Laws has also backed the idea, and hopes that it will be a success allowing the club to do it again for further midweek games.

He said: "It is a fact that teams score more goals when they are kicking towards their own supporters, so if we have two home ends then it can only benefit the team."
