Iron are 'ninth highest achievers' in England

The New Football Pools looked at results, league tables, finances, attendances and player investment to come up wit the list.

Doncaster Rovers, promoted to the Championship via the League One play-off last season, were listed as the biggest over-achievers in England, followed by Portsmouth and Reading.

Sheffield Wednesday were listed as the poorest performing side since 1992, with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest just above.
