Iron at full strength for Forest visit

Nigel Adkins, the Iron manager, was relishing the game and promised an entertaining match - especially with his side knowing safety in the Championship is secure.

"We're going to have a right go, we want to entertain the supporters like we did at Doncaster [a 4-3 defeat on Saturday] - there will be goals in this match as well," he said.

"We're finishing the season on a high, with smiles on our faces. We can go out and hopefully we can make it a really entertaining game for supporters

"There will be a few changes, there are youngsters in there who want a game and we want it to be a day of celebration."

David Mirfin is available for selection, after coming off during Saturday's defeat at Doncaster with a groin/back problem.

Adkins has no injury doubts, with Michael Raynes (ankle), Rob Jones (calf), Jim McNulty (ankle) and Marcus Williams (hamstring) all taking part in training this week.

Forest are without captain Paul McKenna, who has, and Julian Bennett.

Their official website suggests manager Billy Davies will rotate his squad, with Joel Lynch, Joe Garner, David McGoldrick and Dele Adebola tipped to feature in the club's last game before the play-offs.

The visitors are without a win from their last eight away league games, a win on Sunday would guarantee them third place in the final table - and with it, a play-off semi-final against the sixth-placed finisher.
