Iron browse Rangers frontman

The 21 year-old made three first-team starts for Rangers last season and is highly rated by Ibrox supremo Alex McLeish.

However with players of the calibre of Shota Arveladze, Peter Lovenkrands and Michael Mols ahead of him, McLean is having to wait for his chance when it comes to regular first team football in Glasgow.

The Peebles born front man has had no such problems in the Rangers U21 set-up though, scoring 14 goals in 27 appearances proving he clearly knows where the goal is.

Time will tell if McLlean is what Laws is looking for.
