Iron make third signing

The 33-year-old was released by Notts County this summer, and has signed on a one year deal.

United have the option to extend it by a further year.

He is left-footed and the six footer has often played as left-back.

Iron manager Brian Laws said: "We knew we needed to add some height to our squad after last season and Ian is now the fourth one over six foot that we have.

"I have been after him since the start of the season and am delighted to have signed him."
