Laws said: "The one thing we've got to be very wary of is that Andy Keogh is absolutely exhausted.
"I may even have to pull him out and rest him to make sure he's right because he's our long term future."
Keogh came off the bench in the midweek loss at Wycombe, and is likely to be in the matchday squad for Saturday's visit of Leyton Orient.
