Laws targets good start

The last two seasons have seen United start the season slowly, last season winning just one of the first ten competitive games, and Laws has stressed the importance that it doesn't happen for a third time in a row this season.

He said: "We're geared up to having a good start and it's important we do get a good start this year, we've started badly the last two seasons and we've had to make up alot of ground.

"Especially as we have seven local derbies this season, that's fourteen games which is a quarter of the club's season.

"There's going to be huge competition and nobody like's to lose derbies so there's extra pressure on us already, we need to start well.
