Linfield rescind Beagrie interest

Yesterday the Belfast club confirmed an interest in the veteran player, but have now ruled out a move.

Manager David Jeffrey does not expect to sign Beagrie, but says that his club did not make the first move.

He said: "Peter Beagrie is a player that we were informed about, but I do not see us pursuing that one."
