Morris: Lack of professionalism has cost us

Speaking to the Scunthorpe Telegraph, Morris said: "We've shown that we can play. It's just the professionalism to see out games that's killed us really. That's been the difference this season.

"The results don't lie. They show that we score first most of the time, we just can't see to hold on to it," Morris added.

Despite his spectacular 35-yard goal on Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday, Morris revealed that he was devastated with the result.

"I was delighted with the goal. It just takes the shine off it that we didn't come away with three points. It's devastating. I don't know what to say."

The 21-year-old believes that the remaining four games must be treated like cup finals, if United have any chance of surviving.

"We've just got to keep playing now until the end of the season. There are four games left and we have to keep playing.

"We just have to go out and try. Everyone has to gee each other up if we're falling down. It's getting really tight now.

"Every game now is a cup final."
