United claim the move comes about after selling allocated seats means the club can sell to 100 per cent capacity rather than 95 per cent. 

The Iron only managed one attendance above the 95 per cent capacity mark last season, when Sheffield United visited Glanford Park.

The Doncaster Road terrace will still be pay on the gate.
