Norwich's Sharp bid accepted

United have accepted a bid from the Canaries for the 21-year-old hotshot, who scored 32 goals in last season's League One title-winning campaign.

Meanwhile Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws says he is back in the market for Sharp.

The Owls hafe made a further bid for the striker, which Scunthorpe say does not meet their valuation.

"There has been a lot of talk about Sharp, Kenwyne Jones and so on," said Laws, who quit his role as Iron boss last year to take over at Hillsborough.

"They are on our radar and the chairman has given me the nod to pursue it a bit further."

Wolves, who had a second offer turned down at the weekend, and West Bromwich Albion are also believed to be chasing Sharp.
