Observer and Dee Jays sponsor unity match

The match will be sponsored by Dee Jays, with the Scunthorpe Telegraph sponsoring the 1999 Wembley side and The Observer newspaper sponsoring the invitation XI.

Brian Laws will take charge of the Scunthorpe Telegraph Wembley XI, assisted by Mark Lillis, while Graham Taylor will manage the Observer XI.

Limited edition shirts and posters will also be produced to mark the occasion, these will be available from Dee Jayes Menswear in the town centre and the club shop.

Players who have permission from their clubs to play in the Observer invitation XI are:

Jordi Cruyff (Espanyol), Ivan Campo (Bolton), Javi Moreno (Bolton), Gaizka Mendieta (Middlesbrough), Michael Dawson (Nottm Forest), Roberto Martinez (Swansea), Peter Beagrie.

The entire 1999 side will be returning for the match.
